Angie how did you end up doing this work with people?
It actually started with me. I wanted to transform my body after having a baby after 40 years old. I found that after 40 years that it was harder to lose the weight. It was so easy to lose the weight when I was 20 and 30 years old. I was also concerned that I wanted to keep moving till I was 100 years old. Then I started attracting woman who wanted the same thing. I believe that we can be flexible and vital till well in the 100s. Actually, I am getting more flexible as I am getting older.

So Angi tell us about 3 little known mistakes most women make gain weight easier and have hard time losing it they can also have more depression and lack of energy?
Ok, I’m excited about to tell you about that. The first mistake I see with my clients, is that women do not want to give up foods they love. Most eating programs are either very restrictive; all or nothing; not healthy and not created women over 40. Unfortunately, they don't address the issues that women over 40 go through.
They have more cravings for more sugar and because their hormones are changing and their Metabolism slows down. They do not break down carbs as fast as younger women and men.Men lose weight much easier than women because they more muscle mass and men tend to eat more protein.
Women over 40 have the tendency to emotional eating due to hormonal chemical imbalances which causes depression, over eating and shame.
Question # 3 - Angi tell us the second mistake?
The second thing I find is that Women are MORE stressed than men. What I mean is that women push it down. They bury their emotions and take on more than they should be handling. Men on the other hand, watch sports as an outlet to release stress. Women talk to others about their problems and it can be more activating. They more support each other emotionally and sympathetic, rather than finding a solution to their problems. Actually, Dr. Oz calls women the chief family officer. Women take on emotionally and are the, emotional keepers in relationships and families. Women take on the world news and take them on personally with their families and relationships. Taking these issues on creates more stress and an increase of resulting in putting on more weight.
I know for the longest time, that women are overworked in the family. They are in charge and the man most often does not take over the responsibility. Women are trained to take it all; like remembering family birthdays, holidays etc. plus have work responsibilities like their husbands. This is emotionally draining. Women are more intuitive and empathic and they are capable of taking on more emotionally. Examples like date for homecoming, remembering birthdays, take on challenges the children are having, i.e. bullying. If you are not like that, great for you.
Another thing is that they can’t sleep. You need to have sufficient enough sleep in order for the metabolism to work properly. There is a much higher rate of women taking prescribed and over the counter sleeping aids. This does not support sufficient sleep. This side effects is resistant to losing weight. It’s a vicious cycle.
Question # 4 - Ok Angi tell me about the 3rd mistake?
Actually, this may sound really strange, but in my experience especially women over 40 is that women are exercising too much and it is counterproductive. It puts more stress in the body.
Fat loss and fitness experts say that:
Exercise is a stressor, then your body produces cortisol as a result. When your body is exposed to cortisol for longer than normal periods, too much cortisol can have negative effects like additional stressors for the body. When you combine this with sweets and alcohol you have recipes for disaster. Your body is having too much stressors that your body will compensate by keeping more body fat.
These are all the realizations.
